Chemcraft file associations window At this window Chemcraft can
be associated with certain types of files, so you will be able to quickly
open these files in Chemcraft from Explorer or other shell. You can specify custom
extension in the right textbox either with points (e.g. ".ext") or
without them (e.g. "ext"). If the automatic file associations does not work, you can do the following: run Explorer in Windows, go to a file which should be opened with Chemcraft (.out or .xyz or .cif, etc), right-click on it, choose "Open file with", then find Chemcraft in its folder and set the checkbox "Always open these files".
