Old graphs digitizer window
In this window, you can load a picture from a file or simply paste it from the clipboard (using the Print Screen option in your computer would be most convenient). Next, specify the axes reference points for the picture. For example, if the bottom axis in your picture contains a mark labeled 0.0, choose "Action on left-click / Set reference point 1 (X only)", and then click on this mark. This will ensure that the specified reference point on the graph corresponds to the 0.0 X value. After specifying all reference points on your picture, enter their values in the original graph coordinates at "Original X" and "Original Y" textboxes for both reference points. Once these values are set, the correct original X and Y values will be shown in the "Original X" and "Original Y" textboxes on the right side of the window as you move the mouse pointer over your picture. After specifying the positions of the reference points on your picture and their original graph values, choose "Action on left-click / Pick original XY values", then sequentially click on all peaks in your graph, and the original X and Y values will be added to the list at the bottom of the window (press Copy to copy all of them into clipboard). Feel free to zoom in or out your picture when working with it, this shouldn't produce bugs. Currently our utility cannot rotate the picture; please email us if you would like this tool to be improved by adding tha ability to specify a third reference point and rotate the picture (specifically, to rotate the top and bottom axes). This feature can be important if an old graph was scanned in a non-horizontal position.
